10th June – I was blown away.

Before the hols I visited a lovely school that had taken Reuben’s Retreat as their charity of choice.  A proud school, i was honoured to speak at their assembly.  They sang a beautiful song for Reuben and I was blown away.  Very emotional a…nd I shed quite a few tears.  THANK YOU all the pupils, parents and staff at Cadishead Primary school for being so very wonderful and for making me feel so special !!! Then last week I was invited to another school assembly (photo) – Button lane in Northern Moor.  Wonderful children once again and I got to shake the hands of all those that had special recognition in assembly.  They bought 50 packs of sunflower seeds to start their years worth of fundraising for us.  Wonderful staff, parents and children all coming together to make a difference.  Stunning!!!!  The children take my breath away and all over the country we have wonderful children making their own tributes and sharing their own thoughts on Reuben and what he means to them.  Children he never met, but whose story of loss has impacted their lives.  The RR focus is all about the children.  Children that are not even born yet will go on to benefit greatly from Reuben’s Retreat.  Special memories created and lots of smiles and fun to be had. Our aim is to raise £1m in 23 months and we are just about on track, but its getting tougher. There are other things you can do and any help you can offer on the following requests, please message me via here…… 1)  I need a man and a van to transport some furniture from Notts to Gtr manchester in about 3 wks time 2) I need a local printer to be able to print leaflets and posters  (tameside) 3) I need stickers, big ones and little ones, printed ones and ones for car stickers??? 4) Screen printers for merchandise? 5) Please place the 10th of Sept on your calendars to eat sausage and mash for Reuben’s 3rd birthday Thank you for your love and consistent support, for sharing this new journey, for helping and for being there with your lovely words when the days are dark xxxx Mummy
