Flipping Tuesdays on their head by making them positive meet this weeks challengers Duncan and Eugene….
Duncan and Eugene are undertaking a magical end to end tour cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats, totalling over 1000 miles to help raise funds for charities including ourselves.
We are Duncan (aged 51) and Eugene (aged 16) Rimmer and we are getting ready for our latest challenge: cycling 1000 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats and aiming to raise money for local and international charities.
Over the last decade, we have walked all the National Trail walks and raised over £8,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Back in 2005 we started it all by walking the 85 miles Hadrian’s Wall path. The following year we then completed the 267 mile Pennine Way when Eugene was then aged only 7 years old. Over the next four years, we bagged the 95 mile West Highland Way, 190 mile Coast to Coast and 177 mile Offa’s Dyke.
In 2013 we switched to long distance cycling and undertook the 170 mile Hadrian’s Cycleway. After a year off (due to Duncan having a knee operation), we are now taking 3 weeks holiday in July to ride the big one, cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats”
Duncan and Eugene are blogging throughout their journeyhttps://www.crazyguyonabike.com/?o=tS
Thank you Duncan and Eugene, be safe and enjoy your challenge.
