This is a charity event run by Reuben’s Retreat hosted by the team at Lymefield.
This is a magical event for little ones. We like to capture some visits on film and they post to our annual album on social media, so please feel free to share these photographs with your family and friends. Likewise, if you prefer not to have photographs taken, that’s ok too, just let one of our fabulous volunteers know.
The cost for a visit is £5 per child and includes a gift.
Dec 7 Meditation Morning
Enjoy an hour’s guided meditation in serene and beautiful surroundings.
£3 per person to attend and beneficiaries of Reuben’s Retreat can attend for free.
Please wear warm, comfortable clothing and feel free to bring your favourite blanket or cushion for comfort.
Dec 23 Candlelit Yoga
Escape the hustle and bustle of the pre festive preparations and join us for 1 hr 30 mins of candlelit relaxation and calm. Take some time for yourself to pause, breathe, relax and set your intentions for the festive period.
Julie Fairclough of The Yoga Station is an experienced yoga teacher and will be providing a wonderful restorative yin yoga and yoga nidra session with the aim of attending to yourself for that little while during a time of year when it can be especially hard to slow down and recharge.
£10 per person, limited tickets available.
Jan 18 Dance-a-thon
Tickets are £10 per person which is great value for this fantastic event.
Why don’t you come and join in the fun with us! You can do any kind of dancing you like (for as long as you want) and just think you can start your 2019 fitness campaign with a bang!
We’d love to see you at this fantastic event which is open to all abilities and over 12’s are welcome too as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

Dec 7 Snowdon SunRaise 2019
The first Snowdon SunRaise sold out super quick and was an amazing experience for everyone involved. Here are some of the comments we received:

The cost is £40 pp and you are requested to raise a minimum of £100 pp sponsorship (we have sponsor forms, or if using a giving page, please use Virgin Money Giving).
We will be booking return coach travel from Glossop for £23 per person, more details will be sent once you’ve booked on the Event with Breese.
Leaving Llanberis at 2am with head torches, we will head along the Llanberis Path to ascend Snowdon (or Yr Wyddfa to use its Welsh name) in the moonlight, reaching the summit in time to see the sunrise from one of the most beautiful destinations on earth. We will return along the same path in the first light of dawn, reaching Llanberis just in time for breakfast.

We meet at 2am at LLanberis
At 0205am we wil have a full safety briefing
0215 we will start our ascent
0545 we will reach the summit
0600 we will start our descent
0830 we will devour a butty and a brew
Total timing will be around 2am to 9am (however if we transfer, I expect we will leave Glossop around 11pm on the Friday night).
The £40 includes an expert mountain leader, ground support, kit training & advice, brew & butty and the guided walk.
*MINIMUM of 14 years+* are welcome with a guardian and Breese adventures have a * No dogs policy *
Kit essential info will also be on the Breese site too;- please wear appropriate walking shoes or boots and bring waterproofs, snacks and water. There are NO TOILETS.
