The Team
We are a small hard working team, greatly supported by our dedicated volunteers.
Nicola Graham:
Nicola is Reuben’s Mummy and Founder of Reuben’s Retreat. She splits her working week between our Ashton & Glossop offices. Nicola is our vision behind the project who leads and inspires the whole team, volunteers and supporters. Nicola says she feels blessed to walk hand in hand every day with her Angel Son to deliver his work. With over 25 years experience in the travel industry, she has a passion for travel and enjoys precious family time too.
Sally Anne Jones:
Sally Anne is our Breaks & Support Manager; she manages our Lodge at Reuben’s in Glossop and looks after all of our families. This involves planning and organising our support, breaks, counselling and activity days. Sally Anne also heads up our Volunteer programme and supports our social media, website, fundraising and events programme. In her spare time Sally Anne loves to travel to Benidorm.
Rachael Horrocks:
Rachael is our office manager at Ashton under Lyne. She ensures that our back office and accounting systems run smoothly. Coordinating and managing events as well as our social media outlets, Rachael also welcomes visitors, updates our webshop and website, and helps to ensure that our families are looked after in Ashton under Lyne. In her spare time, Rachael loves to spend time with her twins and family and is also a keen runner, and run coach.
Lynne Redmond:
Lynne is our Operations Manager. She ensures that we comply with regulations. Putting policies and procedures into place, managing our health & safety and IT infrastructure. Lynne is also responsible for applying to Trusts, funds and foundations for grants. In her spare time, Lynne loves to visit her family in London and adores her Siamese cats.
Susan Anders:
Susan is our Housekeeper in Glossop. She works two afternoons a week ensuring that The Lodge at Reuben’s is always clean and welcoming for our families and visitors. Susan is also a keen seamstress and currently makes beautiful handmade items to sell via our webshop. In her spare time, Susan enjoys looking after and walking her dog and hosting local craft stalls.
Ian Mood:
Ian is in charge of producing our quarterly magazine, his creative skills are vast and he also helps with some graphic design and the maintenance and content of our website. Ian is also a landscape artist who enjoys walking into the local hills and sketching all day with his dog Pepper.

We are pleased to have the facility for our supporters to set up a regular donation from £5 a month upwards.
