Together for the journey
Whenever I talk about Reuben’s Retreat I often take stock of my own body language, something I am aware of in counselling. I touch my heart and smile and this is how I feel. I know that this isn’t going to feel like a job for me, it’s so much more.
As a Family Wellbeing Champion it is my privilege to assist our families in navigating through their own unique journeys. I am here to provide a supporting, non-judgemental ear for parents and seek to do all I can to enrich the lives of all the families we serve.
Under the expert guidance of Nicola Davies (Contented canines & member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers 01059)
Dolly has passed her perfect puppy course, puppy good companion award, puppy socialisation course and attended 12 x 1-1 training sessions.
She is currently working towards her Foundation Companion Award and owner Nicola owner is working towards her accreditation with Therapy Dog Training UK.
Dolly is also supported by white cross vets and their exceptional wellness plan.
A great addition to the team, Dolly provides a lot of comfort and cheer to many of our beneficiary families here at Reuben’s
Since the very start of our journey Reuben’s Retreat has been blessed with a lovingly designed visual identity. It’s a joy to continue to promote Reuben’s Retreat knowing that the artwork we produce offers a route to vital support services for those who need them most.
I am incredibly proud to work as a Family and Wellbeing Champion for Reuben’s Retreat, alongside a caring team who are committed to Reuben’s work. As a qualifying counsellor I offer an empathetic understanding and know the importance and benefits of feeling heard and understood. This role enables me to offer my listening skills with the bespoke Reuben’s Retreat care that comes from a genuine desire to nurture, hold and support beneficiaries in their bereavement journey.
