Join us at our Heritage Open Day on the 10th September to celebrate the interesting history of our beautiful building! The building dates back to 1886 and offers an abundance of heritage and history.
After the charity purchased the building in 2014, it was paramount that we restored it back to it’s original state to pay tribute to the building’s history. There are many of the original Victorian era features, as well as replicas, on show such as stained glass windows and original stone brick. Part of our building is yet to be renovated but has been stripped back in preparation for future renovations. During these preparations we uncovered original wall paper and fireplaces, dating back to when nurses lived on-site…
We welcome everyone up to visit our beautiful site on our Heritage Open Day, completely free of charge and no booking required…
